Greg McLeish is a rhythm & blues survivor and ‘Hooked On You’ is the end product of years of playing, composing and recording.

Recorded at the legendary Air Studios, Lyndhurst, the album includes contributions from the cream of London’s session players including B.J.Cole (pedal steel), Danny Cummings (Dire Straits), Chris Worsey (cello) and Andy Findon (sax & flute). Featured on many of the songs including the title track are the vocals of gospel queen Sarah Brown (Simple Minds, Roxy Music).

Greg first played his Fender Stratocaster in Perth, West Australia, paying his dues travelling between bush towns like Paraburdoo, Karratha and Port Hedland. Driving thousands of miles, playing to miners, farmers and townsfolk, Greg’s gritty style appealed to these outback music lovers. Braving the heat and red dust of the Pilbara he was encouraged by the connection his music made.
